Wisp+

  • Developed by the Westinghouse company. Wisp+ is a telecontrol protocol used to couple control stations and substations. Its physical layer operates in the standard mode with start bit, data bits, parity and stop bit.

    There are two variants of this protocol:

    • Wisp+
    • extended Wisp+

    The primary difference between the two is the wider address range in the 'extended' variant.
