    Your tasks
    • Implementation and test of communication protocols
    • Autonomous project execution
    • Project specific configuration of gateways and implementation of customer requirements
    • Preparation of project specific dokumentation
    • Global commissioning of our products

    		  
    Your profile
    • Profound knowledge in at least one of the programming languages C, C++ and Java
    • Knowledge in programming operating systems under Windows XP and/or Linux
    • Knowledge in administration of TCP/IP networks and TCP/IP programming
    • Experience in script languages such as Pearl, Python or PHP is advantageous
    • Experience with industrial communication protocols such as IEC 60870-5-101/4, IEC 61850, Profibus, Modbus, etc. is of advantage, but not a condition
    • A degree in Computer Sciences or a comparable training. Career changer and autodidacts with appropriate knowledge and experience are welcome.
    • Willing to travel (global, short-term 1 to 2 weeks, 3 to 4 times a year)
    • Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with complex contexts
    • Willing to use new technologies and to learn them
    • Good command of English and German
