We offer a large product portfolio for connecting IEC 60870-5-101 and IEC 60870-5-104 devices to each other and to other protocols. These are some of the typical challenges:
If the application layers on the IEC 60870-5-101 and the IEC 60870-5-104 side are largely compatible, ipRoute is the tool of your choice.
Configuration of the individual information objects is not needed, only interface and general communication parameters must be defined. ipRoute is very easy to configure and has proven its worth in many projects.
If the IEC 60870-5-101 - and/or IEC 60870-5-104 devices are not mutually compatible, i.e. address spaces do not match, information representation is different, we recommend using ipConvLite and ipConv.
This allows the devices to be decoupled to a great extent. Unlike ipRoute, these converters require configuration of information objects, which can easily be accomplished using an Excel spreadsheet.
ipConvOPC allows you to connect both IEC 60870-5-101- / IEC 60870-5-104 devices and devices based on other protocols via an OPC Classic interface to a SCADA system. For this purpose OPC DA 3.0, Server, OPC DA 3.0, Client and OPC DAXML 1.01, Server may be used.
IEC 60870-5-101- / IEC 60870-5-104 devices and those based on other protocols can also be connected via the OPC UA interface. Therefore OPC UA 1.02, Server and OPC UA 1.02, Client are available, which may be used with the products ipConv, ipConvLite and ipConvOPC.
ipConv and ipConvLite allow you to link up different protocols such as IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP 3.0 etc. to Profibus-DP, respectively.
Thereby ipConv and ipConvLite can act as a slave as well as a master.
To capture Profibus data by a passive device without interference, the Profibus Sniffer ip4Cloud/SEC3PB can be used.
ipConvLite and ipConv enable the connecting of any existing protocols, such as IEC 60870-5-101 and IEC 60870-5-104.
